The children of Natalie Suleman, once widely known as the "Octomom," are now stepping into the spotlight to share their perspectives. As they approach their 16th birthday on January 26, the eight youngest of her 14 children have begun opening up about their family life. This comes just weeks before the release of Lifetime’s upcoming film "I Was Octomom" on March 8 and the documentary series "Confessions of Octomom" on March 10. The teenagers reveal a deeper understanding of the challenges their mother faced in raising them.

Nariyah, one of the octuplets, expressed profound appreciation for her mother’s dedication. She emphasized the significant sacrifices Natalie made to ensure the well-being of her children. “My mom gave up so much—her personal life, friendships, and even her own dignity—to care for us,” Nariyah said during an interview with People magazine. Sitting beside her mother, she added that if given the chance, she would support her mom in any way possible because of all the years of assistance and love provided by Natalie.

Natalie, who has distanced herself from her former nickname to move past the media scrutiny, became a household name in 2009 when she welcomed Nariyah and her seven siblings through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Despite the public attention and controversy, her children now aim to offer a more personal and heartfelt view of their family dynamics.
